VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
If you want to volunteer, and enjoy filling out paperwork, organizing office space, making outbound calls, greeting people that come into the Scholars Center, or research then volunteering as an administrator would be a great way to donate your time!

With guidance and support from our site coordinator and Pure Heart team, you can decide what you’re most interested in and start from there! Our Administrator Volunteers serve a critical role and help us ensure we provide the best experience for our scholars, families and supporters.
Administration
Tutoring is a critical component of our Academic Enrichment pillar. Providing our scholars with access to group tutoring, 1 on 1 tutoring enhances their educational advancement. As a tutor volunteer, your commitment can be flexible according to your subject of expertise and availability. Tutoring, group tutoring, and homework assistant can be done in person at Pure Heart’s Scholar Center or done virtually. If you’re interested in serving our scholars through tutoring, we encourage you to sign up!

You will receive support and guidance from our Academic Enrichment Specialist to engage with our scholars in a creative and educational way!
Tutoring
If you’re someone who loves working with youth, we want to encourage you to become a mentor! Mentoring is a part of Pure Heart’s Holistic Model. Mentoring a Pure Heart scholar means being consistent and navigating your mentee through their day-to-day life and to be an advocate for their wellbeing. We have designed a mentorship curriculum and guide that will help you provide the best mentor/mentee experience to only our scholars but to you!
True mentorship results in both individual lives being impacted and with guidance and support from our mentorship specialist, you will be matched with a scholar that best fits you both! Please refer to our mentorship requirements listed on our program page! If you meet the requirements and want to mentor, please fill out the mentor application!
Mentoring
If you want to volunteer here and there but can’t dedicate consistent time, then volunteering for events would be a great fit for you!

We have scholar field trips monthly and 12 scholar events a year! We rely on event volunteers to ensure all our event efforts are done with professionalism and it’s operated at its best capacity! As an event volunteer, your commitment is based on your availability, you can volunteer for one event or all 12, either way, we will appreciate your service! Sign up to volunteer today!
