Pure Heart Scholars are children of incarcerated parents enrolled between the ages of ages 4-17, throughout the state of Michigan. In addition, we now serve scholars ages 18-24 though our Cycle Breaker Alumni Initiative.

"I have been apart of Pure Heart for about 4 years now. It has impacted my life and made things easier for me. I’ve been on field trips, attended Pure Heart parties and I’ve even met the Detroit Pistons. The most impactful thing has been the resources that I’ve received to stay connected with my dad.
