Our Mission
Pure Heart Foundation mission is to empower children of incarcerated parents to break the cycle of generational incarceration. While providing limitless resources that will result in them living happy and fulfilling lives. Pure Heart aims to meet the overall concerns of children of incarcerated parents and families.
ALL Afterschool program serves children 6 to 17. Curriculum is based on the age group of scholars.
Hear My Voice Afterschool Enrichment Program
Overview:

To provide students with a healthy outlet for surging emotions. Reading original poetry aloud can encourage trust and empathy in the community, while also emphasizing speaking and listening skills that are often neglected in literature class. This program allows children to build a community of communication, enhance reading levels, improve literacy scores, foster social and emotional learning.

Know Yourself Mentoring Program

Overview:

Know Yourself is designed to enrich, empower and educate scholars on the importance of self-value. Know Yourself Movement will enhance and strengthen children in areas such as self –esteem and character development. We will foster a community of youth knowing the importance of self-worth. The key components of this program will identify the influences of self-esteem, educate scholars on indicators of low self-esteem, create an environment that will allow scholars to show their uniqueness and do various of activities that will increase their self-esteem.

Dear Mom: Dear Dad Saturday Meet up Session
Overview:
​
Dear Mom Dear Dad is a program that was developed to encourage a consistent communication between children and their incarcerated parent. Scholars meet every Saturday and write their parent in letter form or through via email. This program fosters healthy communication, break communication barriers and it develops relationship despite distance. Each month in this session a photographer is present to send updated photos to parent that is incarcerated.
